# Morning Pulse

> Morning Pulse is a daily metrics email. Every morning at 7 AM (your local time) it sends one scannable email that combines your Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Amplitude, Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Stripe, and Shopify metrics, each with a trend vs yesterday, last week, and last month, so you start the day informed without logging into a single dashboard. Morning Pulse is push, not pull. Instead of opening four or five dashboards every morning, you get one email with the numbers already combined and already compared with yesterday, last week, and last month. It's built for solo founders, indie makers, and small teams running apps, SaaS products, or online stores whose metrics are spread across two or more tools. Every connector uses the service's official API, with read-only access wherever the API offers it.

- **Who it's for:** solo founders, indie makers, and small teams with metrics in 2+ sources; Shopify store owners who want daily sales by email.
- **Integrations (7):** Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Amplitude, Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Stripe, Shopify. Free uses one source; Starter and Pro combine all seven.
- **Trends on every daily metric:** vs yesterday, vs last week, vs last month, on every plan including Free. Color-coded, same layout every morning.
- **Numbers:** computed in code from the official APIs. No language model writes or summarizes the numbers.
- **Delivery:** 7:00 AM in your local timezone, every day. The time is fixed; you can change your timezone. Paid Pro billed by card (Stripe) can also turn on a short WhatsApp brief (the day's biggest moves and a link to the full brief) around 7:00 AM on days with fresh numbers (not during the trial or on Pro billed through Shopify; phone numbers from the EU, India and Canada only); the email continues.
- **Setup:** no code. Sign in with Google for GA4, Search Console and Google Play; add an App Store Connect API key, a Stripe restricted key or an Amplitude API key and secret key; install the Shopify app. The first email arrives the next morning at 7:00.
- **Access:** read-only wherever the API offers it (GA4, Search Console, Play reports storage, Stripe restricted key, Shopify `read_orders`). Google Play's API has no read-only scope, and an App Store Connect key must be able to request Apple's analytics reports; on both, Morning Pulse only requests and reads data. Amplitude has no read-only key, so Morning Pulse recommends a secret key just for Morning Pulse and only reads daily totals. It never edits your apps, orders or payments. Disconnecting a source deletes its stored credentials.
- **Data freshness:** GA4 data is usually from yesterday. Search Console waits for Google's final numbers, so it is 2–3 days old. Apple only finalizes App Store data about 2 days later (up to 72 hours), so App Store numbers are typically 2–3 days old. Google Play reports (installs, store listing) are 3–7 days late. Amplitude totals cover yesterday in your project's time zone, and recent days can still rise slightly as offline devices send late events. Each source is labeled with the date it covers.

- Your first Starter or Pro subscription starts with a 14-day trial; checkout asks for a card. No contract: cancel anytime from the Billing page in the app. The WhatsApp brief starts with the paid Pro plan billed by card, not during the trial.

## How it compares

- **vs opening each dashboard every morning:** the same numbers in one email, already combined and already trended, with no logins.
- **vs scripting it yourself (cron + LLM):** the first version takes an afternoon. Morning Pulse handles what comes after: renewing Google, App Store Connect and Shopify access tokens, reporting late-landing data (Search Console, App Store, Play reports) with the day it covers instead of an empty day, and computing every number in code instead of having a model summarize JSON.
- **vs GA4's scheduled email reports:** GA4 requires the Administrator role, sends a PDF or CSV file, and stops after 12 months at most unless an admin renews it; recipients must have access to the property. Morning Pulse needs only Viewer access, puts the numbers in the email itself with three comparisons on every daily KPI, has no end date, and on Starter and Pro adds six more sources. Need breakdowns by source, page or country? GA4's own email does that; Morning Pulse sends daily totals.
- **vs BI and product-analytics tools (Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel):** those are for exploring data. Morning Pulse is the daily glance, and it can bring your daily Amplitude totals (active users, new users, sessions) into the morning email, while exploration stays in Amplitude, Mixpanel or your BI tool.
- **Not a fit for:** real-time or intraday alerting, ad-hoc analysis or SQL, or same-day App Store data (Apple doesn't provide it).
